About Coach Alan Choachuy

At almost 309 pounds in 2011, Coach Alan Choachuy went through a fitness journey starting with Biggest Loser Philippines. He came out of the camp at 240 pounds.

With the mentorship of Coach Jim Saret, Alan integrated fitness in his daily lifestyle as got into various sports including running and triathlon.

Last May 2012, he took the lead in launching the FITFIL Fitness Boot Camp in Cebu City that gathered more than 200 participants.

The success of the boot camp paved the way for the launch of Coach A's METAfit Fitness Boot Camp that focuses on small group mentorship.

Last August 2012, Coach A completed the 70.3 half-Ironman Cebu consist of 1.9 km swim, 21k run, and 90km bike ride.

He currently weighs 184 pounds.

This 2013, Coach Alan aims to inspire more Filipinos in becoming fit and help those who aspire in doing their first triathlon.

In his daily life, Coach A is a Licensed / Professional Architect and very committed with his family duties.
